Parents, expose and immerse your kids and teens to Filipino culture when you sign them up to attend the Cultural Workshop on Sunday, November 17 from 2-4PM.

Attendees, please plan to arrive at 1:30PM for check in. The event will start promptly at 2PM.  

This event is FREE to members and non-members. 

This activity is open to children 5 to 17 years old. The workshop will be held in the Community Room of the Verona Public Library. The Cultural Education Committee will offer Learning Centers that include the following:

• Mini Tinikling Workshop
• Learn a Tagalog Song
• Filipino Alphabet and Common Tagalog Greetings
• Storytelling Corner: Mga Kwento ni Lola Basyang ( Philippine Legends/Alamat)
• The different islands of the Philippines

The deadline to register is Friday, November 15, 2019.

After the deadline, you can contact PAMANA directly if you want your kids to attend the workshop. Depending on the number of registrants by November 15,  we may be available to accommodate walk ins.

All participants/attendees to this event MUST sign the PAMANA Photo & Video Release and Event Participation Waiver.

Another session of the cultural workshop will be offered in the Spring of 2020.
