    Enjoy this free musical marathon , with performances featuring Filipino talents. Help make music in between musical acts with our open mic karaoke sessions!

    Make Filipino Music Madison is one of the 160+ events happening around the city to commemorate the worldwide celebration of Make Music Day (Fête de la Musique) every June 21.

    Since Madison's participation in 2013, Make Music Madison is now among the largest events in the U.S. organized for the occasion.

    This year is PAMANA's inaugural hosting of Make Filipino Music Madison, which spotlights Filipino talent and music.

    What to Expect

    • Average high temperature in Madison on June 21 is 80°F.
    • You are free to set up picnic chairs, blankets and shades (not bigger than a 10'x10' tent) in the park's lawn, while performers and technical staff occupy part of the shelter. Should the event experience inclement weather, you can take cover in any of the shelter's three levels.
    • Filipino food will be available for purchase from invited food trucks and vendors.
    • Please follow general city park rules.

    Filipino Summer Day Camp 2026. Five Saturdays: July 18 and 25; August 1, 8 and 15. Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center, Madison, WI.


    For five consecutive Saturday afternoons, the Filipino Summer Day Camp welcomes kids between 7 to 18 years old.

    The camp features two parallel sessions for younger and older kids. Campers will learn basic Tagalog language, while being introduced to Filipino music, regional cuisine, Filipino customs and values, hands-on art projects, popular literature and folklore, and traditional Filipino games and pastimes.

    Lesson plans have been developed by Filipino American education experts and licensed professionals, who will also act as camp counselors.

    Registration is now open. If you plan to register more than one Camper, you will need to fill up the form separately for each attendee.

    PAMANA Summer Picnic. August 22, 2026. Moving to a new venue (to be announced later).

    One of our most-attended annual activities, the PAMANA Summer Picnic gathers our community in a potluck setting to celebrate Filipino culture through traditional dances, music, and games. This event also serves as the recognition activity for our summer campers and the culmination of Pinoy Sama-Summer 2026.
